Seoul, Korea - January 23, 2009 – HanbitSoft, Inc. announced today that an online action RPG developed by Redbana US Studio will focus its future updates on strengthening community system. During Hellgate: London’s meeting with fan gamers on 16th, producers and marketing managers revealed plans of the future development and new update features.

Keeping the Speedy, Thrilling Action and Strengthening Community System

Hellgate’s future development direction will be focused on strengthening community systems while keeping the speedy and thrilling action play because one of suggestions that gamers have been giving out was to strengthen the community system. HanbitSoft revealed the new contents that are included in 1.5 patches which will be updated soon. Through the upcoming update, Hellgate will combine the modes, revise the character balance, and differentiate each ACT. Gamers who participated the meeting gave applause to this announcement.

Hellgate: London Switches Over to Free-to-Play model

During the meeting, HanbitSoft also announced that Hellgate: London will be serviced in free-to-play model soon. This was the first time to announce officially in public. HanbitSoft explained that through switching over to free-to-play model, the company will take out the burden from gamers and invite more diverse gamers. The date for free-to-play switch over is undecided for now.
